Why We Started Motive
Motive Events was founded in 2012 by a team of event professionals who had spent years watching corporations settle for mediocre experiences — events that checked boxes but failed to move people. We believed the industry could do better.
We built Motive around a simple idea: that a corporate event should be as strategically rigorous as any other business initiative. Every decision — from venue to run-of-show — should serve a clear purpose. And every guest should leave feeling something.
Over a decade later, we've planned more than 400 events across 30 cities, partnered with Fortune 500 companies and fast-growing startups alike, and built a reputation for delivering experiences that are as flawless in execution as they are memorable in impact.

Alexandra founded Motive Events after 10 years leading event operations at two of the country's largest hospitality groups. She holds a degree in Communications from Northwestern University and has been recognized by BizBash as one of the top 50 event professionals in North America.
